Products

Can I have a branded sample?

In short, yes. If you place an order with us that is over £5k then the branded sample is free of charge to be signed off before we go to print. If it is before an order then we still can however there is a charge from the factory for this, that we pass on to you.

What packaging does the product come in?

This depends on the product you are looking at, however we can produce bespoke packaging for any item that we sell as an additional option.

Can we split the colour of products?

Generally, the rule is that we can split the colour of the products as long as the print is the same throughout, however there are some anomalies, so always ask your account manager ahead of ordering.

I have some *jackets - as an example* can you print them please and what is the cost?

We are afraid that we only brand on items that we provide.

Can you quote me something budget that looks expensive?

Of course, we have options for all budgets. Let us know what your budget is and we can find something within that.

Can we have different designs?

Yes you can, however there will be a minimum quantity per design and there will also be an origination charge per design.

What is vectorised artwork?

Please click to view PDF for more information on our artwork requirements.

Why can’t you use my artwork?

We need artwork in AI, EPS or vectorised PDF format. If we are supplied something like a JPEG or PNG for example, when this is scaled up or down the artwork then pixelates, is blurry and doesn’t print crisp.

What is a pantone colour?

Colors such as those found in the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM® are referred to in the industry as spot or solid colors. Starting from a palette of 18 basic colors, each of the spot colors in the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM is mixed according to its own unique ink mixing formula developed by Pantone.

Why am I having to sign off artwork again when I already approved the visual?

The first visual was a visual mock up that was done by our internal designer and is not to scale, once you have placed the order you will receive an official proof to scale that is created by our factory that will then need to be signed off before they go to print.

What colours do these come supplied in?

We will supply all the colours that the product is available in on the quote that we sent over.

Ordering & Costs

What is the next price break?

Each of the items we sell may have difference price breaks, however the most common are 50 / 100 / 250 / 500 / 1000 / 2500 / 5000.

Why is there a minimum order quantity?

This is due to the cost of setting up the machinery, we could do a lower quantity however the cost per item would be very high and not value for money.

What does origination mean?

Origination costs cover various things:

    • In litho printing, cost of creating the plates.
    • In screen printing, the cost of creating the screens.
    • In digital printing, the cost of setting up the machine to print.
    • In embroidery, the cost of setting up the disk.
    • With engraving, the cost to setup your design.

The cost is also dependant on how many colours are in your logo. This is because each colour is printed separately. Embroidery is based on the amount of stitches in your logo.  The higher the stitch count, the longer it takes to create the disk, and subsequently the higher the price.

What is the overs and unders policy?

Our policy is that there is a possibility that there will be 10% over or 10% under delivered to the client of the product they have ordered. This is because they may have to run more as there are spoils during quality control or the machine runs so quickly that when they stop is approximate. The customer will always only pay for what they receive, so if they are delivered under then they will only pay for what is received.

Why is the lead time longer on a 2+ colour print compared to a 1 colour?

This is due to the print needing longer to dry. Each time a colour is printed on an item it needs time to cure before the next colour gets printed, hence the lead time is slightly longer.

What are the quickest turnaround items?

We can do certain items, mostly pens, from a 24 hour turnaround with a 1 colour print. If you have a deadline for an event always let us know as most of our items are around 10 working days from artwork approval.

Shipping

Can you ship this outside of UK?

We can, we can ship worldwide. We can also source locally to the client, I.e we would source from the US for delivery in the US, and from the UK for delivery in the UK.

To save on carriage can I come and collect the boxes?

We are afraid due to Health and Safety our factories only except collections from couriers.

Why am I being charged carriage for each product?

This is because we use specialists in each of the products for the items we supply to you. This is so you get the best possible product from the factories that specialise in that product, so because they will be sent out from separate factories there will be separate carriage charges.
